Next HOA Meeting
The next HOA meeting will be Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. at Harper Park Middle School (room to be announced).  

Community Yard Sale
We will hold our next community yard sale on Saturday, September 25. We will advertise and post signs at the front entrances. Feel free to post your own yard sale signs the day of the sale, but please remember to remove them as soon as the yard sale is over (please do not tape signs to street signs).

Blood Drive Information
On Monday, August 23, there will be a blood drive at the Spring Lakes Community pool parking lot. The drive will last from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ups will be allowed if space is available. Appointments are scheduled every quarter hour and can be made in two ways: 

• Email Jim Plowman at jeplowman@verizon.net and list your top three preferred times, and he will take care of the registration process.  Once registered, a confirmation email will follow as a reminder, or  

•  Log on to INOVA Blood Donor Services at www.inovabloodsaves.org.  Click on the “Donate Blood” tab on the upper right hand side.  Then enter the Sponsor Code: 7709.  Then click on the Spring Lakes Community Bloodmobile and select an available time slot.  You will then be directed to either Login (if you are a previous donor with an ID) or Register for an appointment by adding yourself as a new donor.

Summer months are extremely difficult for area blood reserves, so as a special incentive, every person that is screened and attempts to donate blood will receive a free $10 gas card.
